Folk Art Doll, Mihewi

Mihewi was sculpted from Paper clay, fabric and sticks, then painted with Acrylic paints. Her clothes are made of tea stained linen, embellished with hand stitching, and stained leather. Her arms and legs are made of carved sticks that are bead jointed at the elbows. Her eyes are painted porcelain and her braided hair is made of dyed flax. She wears a seed bead necklace.

She is about 11" tall and can sit, be displayed on a wall or shadow box from the loop sewn to her back or be displayed on a black metal kaiser doll stand, which is included.
